I've been at my moms house doing a few projects that she needed done, and it's been such a great week.
There had been lots of putting furniture together, and there might be some painting going on this weekend.. :)
Scott won a tree from festival of trees. Probably the highlight of my day yesterday! It's beautiful, pre-lit, big, and fluffy! haha It's a camping/survival tree. So there are camping drinking mugs, survival blankets, spoons, forks, etc. We wouldn't have wanted any other tree and feel so grateful it was given to us!
I spent all last weekend with Tiffany. I love acting silly with her and staying up until midnight watching toddlers and tiaras.
Luke is doing super funny things lately. It's just crazy how much he looks to us. He is copying everything we do! Right now his favorite thing is throwing away diapers/any trash. He picks up the item, I tell him to go throw it away, he goes over to the pantry door, opens the door, throws it in the trash, and claps! I don't know why that is such a big deal to me, but it is. haha
He put olives on his fingers yesterday. Like the silly thing you do when you put them on all ten fingers and eat them off? I'm doing the dishes, turn around, and see olives are on his fingers. So funny.
We also just put a slide in his room. He has his own personal playground. Thanks to Lukes grandma, my wonderful step mom Michelle! We absolutely love it!
| Luke had a play date with Ezra while I caught up with Kaylie. |
He can say:
- Mommy
- Daddy
- T-T (New one yesterday! For Tiffany.)
- Stop
- Nigh Nigh
- Ba-Ba
- Daaass Daaass (For dance)
- No
- Baaaaaaf Baaaaf (For bath)
- Baby
- Na Na (For banana)
- Mimi (For my mom, she goes by mimi)
- Ya (He actually responds! "Want breakfast?" "Ya!!"
- Kiii Kii (For kitty)
I don't even think I got all of it. He is just talking up a storm. Granted, it might be a language that only scott and I understand. But, he is getting there and it's so fun to hear.
