First Tutorial.

It's no secret that I love veggies.
Between my Instagram account and Facebook, I publicly declare my love for good food everyday

Ever since Tone it Up put out this Kale salad recipe, I've been playing with my own combinations.

I've had a few people ask me, "Do you really eat kale raw?"
You bet your sweet bottom I do!

How do I spice up my kale salads without adding fattening dressings, you ask?

LIKE THIS!

Start out with washed kale, torn up into bite sized pieces.

1 1/2 Tablespoons of olive oil. (Eyeballed -- so give or take. Your preference!)

Fresh lemon is always yummier! But, I was out so I just added some of this lemon juice. No exact measurements. Eyeballed again, but I'm guessing around 1 1/2 tablespoons.

I love a little sweetener in my kale so I added raw, unfiltered, creamed honey. AMAZING. This is only a teaspoon, and I didn't even fill it up all the way. A little goes a long way here!

Add spices! I love cayenne pepper and sea salt.

Garlic, garlic, garlic! I love garlic. It has so many good qualities about it, and it tastes so good. I added 1 teaspoon.

Mix it up!

**IMPORTANT**
If you really want all of these yummy flavors to blend with each other and absorb into your kale, let it sit for a little while. I've let mine sit for an hour, half hour, fifteen minutes, etc. But, just let it sit. Obviously the longer -- the better.

Do yourself a favor and try this. It'll send you to kale-heaven like it has me.
I never walk past the kale in the produce section anymore.
Try making kale chips, juicing your kale, or throwing it into your smoothies!

Your body will thank you as well because kale is so beneficial to your health.

Enjoy!

xoxo
